Training Methods
In order to produce music we need an instrument. The voice is our instrument. However the vocal cords, just like any other string, require a sound board to convert their vibrations into sound. For the choirboy the back is the sound board, the body the echo chamber. Coupled with a unique deep-breathing technique by using the back as a support, and the resonance of various parts of the body, the choirboy produces a rich, clear, vibrant sound, a sound which has elevated the Land of Lakes Choirboys to the rank of one of the best boys’ choirs in the world.

Philosophy
We were born to sing. Singing is as natural as laughing, crying, rejoicing and lamenting. Singing inspires, singing consoles, singing entertains, singing soothes. A child is sung to sleep, a grieving person submits to a soothing voice. The singing voice is waiting to be set free for all the world to hear. This is the work of the Land of Lakes Choirboys.
