The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame based in New Ulm, MN will be inducting five people, and one group into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. This will be presented at “The Banquet & Induction Ceremony” on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Turner Halle in New Ulm. Since 1989 we have inducted 117 people or organizations into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. After the banquet we will have a total of 123 inducted.
The Inductees for 2009 are

Marilyn Sellars - Minneapolis
Dick Macko - Inver Grove Heights
Land of Lakes Choirboys - Elk River
Steve Moran - New Ulm
Dale Menten - Minneapolis
On Saturday, November 7th, the “2009 Inductee Showcase” will be on display at the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame Museum at 27 North Broadway in New Ulm with free admittance. At this event we will be showcasing this year’s Inductees’ life history with pictures and memorabilia plus prior year Inductees’ memorabilia along with entertainment & refreshments from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

It's that time of year again. The Land of Lakes Choirboys will be holding its 4th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament at Riverwood National Golf Course in Otsego, MN. Registration opens at 12:00 pm and the balls fly at 1:00 pm. If you are interested in golfing, please fill out the Golf Tournament Application and Flyer and submit it by email via the button on the form, or print it and mail to us. Unlike organized sports, no one sits on the bench for any performance of a boy choir. Each boy has a unique job to do and is an equally vital part of the final event. Further, the boy learns that he is a part of beauty and creativity, and that he competes only with himself. He is taught that to become better than he ever thought he could be requires that he become more familiar with his own make-up.
As the choirboy looks out over his choir, he immediately recognizes that he is a part of something much bigger than himself. The boy choir is altogether best described as a “finely tuned machine”.
