It is time to create our 2008-2009 Souvenir Program Book!
This is the same type of book that was done last year, which showcases every boy’s individual photo and shares a little information about him.
Our hope is that our Program Book is a very effective fund raising tool, and we need your support to make it successful.
There is a substantial cost to print these books, which are given out at concerts and performances locally and while on tour. To recoup these costs and create an income opportunity for LOLCB, each family is asked to sell ads for the program book.
Ideally, each family will sell ads, or purchase space, in the amount of $100 dollars. This is not an amount suggested per child, but per family. The 1/8 page ads sell for $50, the quarter page ads for $100, half page ads for $200, and full page ads are $400 black & white or $500 color (please call Roger Vogt at (763) 286-9443 for availability).
Suggestions for businesses that may be interested in supporting your Program Book Ad request are insurance agencies, auto repair shops, familiar retailers, personal consultants…any place where you are a regular customer and recognized as being that. Or any place or service provider that might need to advertise their business.
Or you may purchase space in the book for a personal message for your child(ren). Several families did this last year, inserting messages of congratulations and pride for their children. If you do this, your message may be placed next to your son’s photo, making this edition more special than ever!
Attached are the tools you will need to sell ads, or to make a purchase of space on your own behalf.
- A cover sheet, which provides choir contact information (Roger and LOLCB), a photo of a program book (the cover of the book has not yet been determined), ad size and price information, and emphasizes the opportunity to reach 10,000 patrons.
- A sheet that shows examples and prices of ad sizes and prices.
- A sheet that each patron (customer or family) should fill out as the transaction part of the process, detailing name and address of customer, contact information, how the ad will be provided to LOLCB, etc.
